About the event
Get Ready to Run, Laugh, and Get Covered in COLOUR!
Join us for the most epic, joy-filled, and vibrant event of the year—our first ever Chinthurst Colour Run! This isn’t about speed; it’s about fun, friendship, and a whole lot of colour!
As you make your way around the course—whether you sprint, jog, or dance—you’ll be showered in bright colour powder, transforming you into a moving rainbow!
But that’s not all! We’re raising money through sponsorship via SuperKind. All of the sponsorship money raised will go to supporting both the CPA and The Children's Trust. We do ask for a minimum sponsorship of £5 please.
There will be a prize for the pupil that raises the most amount of sponsorship money.
The CPA will be selling raffle tickets on the day for your child to win the chance to GUNGE Mr T. after the race has finished!
Tea, Coffee and Bacon & Sausage Sandwiches will be available to purchase.

10.00 Arrival time & collect your pre ordered TShirt, Goggles and extra colour powder
10.15 warm up with Mr T
10.30 Under 6's Start Time
10.45 Under 8's Start Time
11.00 Over 8's Start Time
11.45 Raffle is drawn and Mr. T gets the GUNGE!
The children will complete 2 laps of the circuit. Then at the finish line parents can join in and throw the additional powder, that has been purchased, at the children.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Colour Run?
Known as the happiest run on earth, a colour run is a fun untimed running event. You can walk, run, hop, skip or dance your way around the course. There will be obstacles along the way with volunteers at throwing stations covering you in coloured powder.
Is the powder safe?
The powders are EN71 certified for use by children,
Made from ground maize (cornflower). All the powders that we use are manufactured in the UK.
Do we need eye protection?
There is an advisory for eye protection, goggles meet this advisory, sunglasses do not! Googles can be ordered via the CPA shop alongside your white t shirt.
Are the powders washable?
Our powders may stain clothing as they contain a coloured dye, we advise a white t-shirt to show off our bright colours to their true effect, and old clothing.
Can we protect the colour and reuse the t-shirt?
Great question as the children seem to love the t-shirt now all bright and colourful, and you can semi fix the powder into the t-shirt simply by spraying white vinegar onto the t-shirt and ironing with a hot iron over grease proof paper. This will allow a quick wash 2 or 3 times before the powder fades.
Skin and hair - will the powder wash out?
Our powders are coloured with cosmetic dyes so washing should not be a problem.
